Hi! I would like to ask a question regarding the Hot Tools Curling Iron. I live in Singapore and have recently purchased a Hot Tool Curling Iron (1 1/2) from the US. I had initially thought that purchasing an adapter as well as a voltage converter would allow me to use this appliance since the voltage could be converted from 220v (Singapore) to 120v (US). However, I have since read online articles that such heating devices cannot be used with a converter in a country with different voltage levels. So, is it alright to use this curling iron with a voltage converter in my country without causing the device to blow or disrupting the entire household circuit system?

Thank you in advance. :)

Thanks Diana for your comment. It is always good to get feedback and be able to share with our readers new products in the marketplace. This obviously works great for you and perhaps others might be interested in trying it out as well. While this particular brand is somewhat on the upper end in price, if someone is looking for something less expensive and a tried and true excellent tourmaline ceramic flat iron, I highly recommend the Le Angelique Turbo Ceramic Tourmaline hair straightener, http://www.hairtoolsplus.com/flat-irons/le-angelique.html or the BaByliss PRO TT Tourmaline Titanium Flat iron http://www.hairtoolsplus.com/flat-irons/tourmaline/babyliss-pro-tt-tourmaline-titanium-1-flat-iron.html.

Although my hair are not curly they aren’t straight as well. I was really concerned about using an electronic product on my hair. Then a colleague suggested Karmin Envy Pink Professional Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron
Its a great product and I would recommend it to all girls wanting to have straight hair.
