Hair grooming has come a long way. We are all familiar with plastic hair rollers.  You pick up a little bit of hair and starting with the end, roll it around the plastic roller.  After securing with a pin, you let it stay for a while.  You remove the roller after maybe an hour and then, viola! You have the perfect stretch of curly hair cascading down your shoulders.

As women got busier, the time needed to come up with the curls became more and more elusive.  It’s a good thing some smart guy, who must have watched a wife, a sister or his mother labor over her tresses, came up with hot rollers. It is a plug-in machine that heats up and when used on the hair achieves the curls in just minutes.  It is a most convenient tool which should be used with caution because if used often, the excessive heat can damage the hair.

Personal grooming comes naturally to the woman.  The office worker, the movie star or the stay at home mom will not think twice about making herself presentable. For this, she will need hair styling accessories.  Because looking good is important to her, she will set aside time and money for tools to bring this about.  Fortunately, this is not something difficult to do.

There is a wide range of hair styling accessories available.  You start with tools like hair dryers, hair rollers and pins.  You use the comb as you work on styling your hair.  Then you finish it off with pretty pins, clips or hair bands.  You check the back of your work with a mirror, and when you are satisfied, you put on a perfumed spray to keep it in place.
