Making the Grade

Author: StylinG February 23, 2010

beauty_schoolAfter graduating from high school, I was at a loss as to what career path to pursue. Once I had worked the grill at McDonald’s for a few months, I knew that I needed to get some sort of education. That is when I decided to go to beauty school.

Although I took classes on many aspects of beauty and cosmetics, I developed an affinity for hair and styling. In November, I graduated from my training and immediately started looking for a new job. Luckily there was a salon hiring nearby, and after a series of interviews, I landed the job. The best part was that the company gave me a brand new set of styling combs, clippers and brushes when I started.
